My name is Julie Goin and I live in the little town of Brush Prairie, Washington with my husband of 13 years and our 4 children - Isabella (12), Isaac (9), Carter (7) and Kaitlyn (5).
I have loved to draw and paint for as long as I can remember. I took six years of art school, but only because I loved it, not because I ever thought I would be able to make a living doing what I love - the starving artist lifestyle never really appealed to me ;-)
About 8 years ago I stumbled upon this business by accident, really. I was just selling some of my kids bedroom sets on ebay with the artwork I had painted to go with them and the emails began pouring in from people asking me to paint artwork for their kids rooms too. It was then that I realized what a market there was for children's artwork and that's when Artful Inspirations was born.
